Life Sales works with individual insurance agents to promote and market various lines of products. They provide agents with marketing collateral, materials, and a variety sales incentive programs and bonuses. By serving as the primary link between the carriers and the agents, the company allows each side to focus on its strengths.

Challenge

Life Sales was using a custom database system to track the recruiting, contracting, and ongoing maintenance of all Agents. The system was both difficult and expensive to maintain, requiring constant and extensive code updates to make simple changes, as well as ongoing hosting and server costs.

Solution
  • Implement Salesforce.com to bring the entire Agent database to the cloud, using workflows, formulas, and custom triggers to duplicate and enhance the capabilities of the legacy system.
  • Create processes that allow for a simple, automated loading of all carrier data feeds.
